The yourfit Programme Approach &
Pricing structure
 
 As touched upon in the training philosophy the yourfit personalised programme consists of a number of specific principles. These principles and approaches are structured and applied in different ways depending on the needs and goals of each individual client, ensuring no two programmes are the same. The following approaches will be used in varying degrees in each yourfit programme.
  
CardioVascular Fitness
  
A strong heart is the cornerstone of any fitness programme. Aerobic workouts burn a lot of calories and fat, increase the flow of oxygen to the body’s muscles and organs (which means more energy!), help you cope with daily stress and help protect you from heart attacks and many other degenerative diseases. We will achieve this through continuous rhythmic movement e.g. walking/running/cycling. We will endeavour to match an individual with their preferred aerobic activity to ensure your c.v. training is both rewarding and enjoyable.
  
Resistance Training:
 
Many people are reluctant to train with weights because they mistakenly believe that toned muscle will turn to fat once they stop their programme. This simply is not true. When performed correctly strength training is probably the most important component of fitness –bar none – in terms of its impact on weight maintenance, weight loss and overall health.
 
Some women don’t want to strength train because they are afraid of becoming ’bulky’. Rest assured that the average woman will not be able to attain an overly muscular body because she does not have the required testosterone levels in her body.

 

 Flexibility:

 
 Your programme will incorporate a variety of stretching approaches that will prepare you for recreational activity, a competitive sports performance or just to give you then necessary suppleness you need for a busy and full life. Stretching and associated flexibility are generally misunderstood or pursued incorrectly or even left out of a workout. You will be guided as to how, when, why and what to stretch to ensure an improvement in your personal flexibility.
 
 Cross Training & Periodisation:
  
A programme that has you completing the same workout day in and day out is a recipe for failure. Adding variety (cross training) and cycling how hard you work over specific periods (periodsation) will be essential to achieving your best results. This will be made easy in your programme as yourfit will suggest and organise the changes you need.
  

Eating Awareness:

 
Regular exercise cannot compensate for improper nutrition. To get the most from your training programme you have to pay as much attention to your diet. This may be a challenge at first but once you realise how poor eating habits can negatively affect your health and fitness you will be motivated to follow your nutrition plan. Good nutrition is not a sacrifice but a choice based on knowledge and common sense

Single Session                                  £29
 
Real, actual changes in your physical shape and conditioning generally occur over a period of 3 months. This 12 week ‘fitness window’ helps you the client, and me the trainer, to experience discernable changes. That is not to say that less regular sessions will not benefit you but we increase the speed of the process through consistency. We wish to create consistency and therefore form habit. As such, discounts are offered for block bookings:

Group Sessions:
If you have a friend or partner of a similar fitness level, why not train together? You can share not only the cost but the hard work, sweat and great results as well,  Group of 2,  £17.00 each, Group of 3,  £13.00 each.
 
The 'Why PT?' Starter Package:
3 discounted sessions, designed and conducted by David to give potential clients an idea of how Personal Training works and feels. Expect each session to be a complete suprise with the focus being a variety of training methods and intensity. Highlights the benefits of working with a Personal Trainer rather than aimlessly slogging through the same workout week in, week out, all on your own£75.00
 
Mini Health Check & Posture Analysis:
A 15 minute assesment of your current health, body composition and posture strength. Testing includes Blood Pressure, bodyfat %, BMI (body mass index) and identification of postural weakness with exercises to remedy any  such weakness,  £10.00
 
Nutrition/Dietary Analysis:
A breakdown of your current eating habits and comparison with what your diet should ideally consist of. Identifies where, how and what changes need to be made,  £39.00
 
One Month Explosion:
8 sessions in 4 weeks. The ultimate fitness kickstart. 2  sessions a week with David, every week for one month. Form the habit, be consistent and push yourself.
(All 8 sessions must be used in a 4 week period to be eligible for this special price), £199.00
 
1/2 Hour Meta-Circuits:
Half hour intense, 1 to 1 metabolic training.  Short in time but high in intensity, shred fat with these flat out, combined aerobic and resistance personal training sessions, £15.00
 
Training Programme:
If all you want is a programme to get fit, train for a specific event or just shape up, but with none of the extras,  £25.00
